Our love for gin first sparked during a tour of Pickering's Gin Distillery in the Scottish capital of Edingburgh. We got to know the typical flavours and gained insight into a medium-sized gin distillery for the first time.

We started our first distilling attempts with a small one-and-a-half litre copper still. The path from juniper berry to gin seemed simple at first for three process engineers but we soon realised that the devil is in the detail.

As our gin stock grew, so did our experience with the distilling process and the recipe. So it was time to turn our attention to the appeareance of our gin. Since then, the bulbous, elegant glass bottle is protecting our creation.

After countless attempts, constant changes, adding or omitting new botanicals and varying the process itself, our recipe is fixed. So from now on, we're ready to go!

In order to finally be able to infect everyone with our joy, Ginery OG was founded at the beginning of 2019. Because we don't want to claim that much joy only for ourselves!
